A New Year Yin mini retreat for welcoming in the year with balance

January 4th 2026

Welcome in the New Year, beat any winter blues and give your immune system a boost with a quiet, restorative Yin yoga mini retreat.
This time of year can take its toll on our immune systems and emotional wellbeing, whether the winter is washing us out, the dark days bringing us down or we just need some well deserved time out.
This workshop will be based around the element of water and the Kidney/bladder meridians. By nurturing this element we can help to ignite our sense of resolve, allowing us to stay focussed on our path, help to support bone tissue health, let go of our fears and find our inner wisdom.
Nadine strives for you to feel nourished and well rested after this time in a held space.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
Suitable for all levels. Yin yoga can be quite intense and the sustained, supported holds (approx 2 - 4 mins) can sometimes feel overwhelming. You have full permission to exit poses whenever you wish and various options are given.
What to expect?
The workshop will begin with centering and a 10 minute low, slow, gentle flow to warm the body and help focus the mind to the breath.
The practice will then move into the Yin work using props to support the body. All props will be provided.
After taking asana practice, the workshop will move into some pranayama and meditation to keep us buoyant over the season and help us keep our inner glow as we head towards the midwinter.
The space is warm but everyone is different - you may wish to dress in layers and have some cosy socks.
You may wish to make sure you don’t have much going on for the rest of the day so you can fully rest and recharge when you get home. If driving or cycling after the workshop please allow some extra time to readjust.

Beat any winter blues and give your immune system a boost with a quiet, restorative Yin yoga mini retreat.
As we navigate our way through the winter months, our immune system needs a bit more TLC and we need to keep trying to feed the spirit and nurture the soul.
This workshop will be based around the element of water and the Kidney/bladder meridians. By nurturing this element we can help to ignite our sense of resolve, allowing us to stay focussed on our path, help to support bone tissue health, let go of our fears and find our inner wisdom.
I strive for you to feel nourished and well rested after this time in a held space.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
Suitable for all levels. Yin yoga can be quite intense and the sustained, supported holds (approx 2 - 4 mins) can sometimes feel overwhelming. You have full permission to exit poses whenever you wish and various options are given.
What to expect?
Our workshop will start with centering breathwork before moving into a nurturing gentle flow. The flow will merge into nourishing yin poses to support the energy, body, mind and heart.
We will be practising asanas to help keep the immune system strong and also practise some Yin asanas to boost the Kidney and Bladder Chi (the meridians of Winter and the element of water). We shall also be touching on caring for the lungs so expect some chest openers, twists and forward folding postures.
After taking asana practice, the workshop will move into guided meditation to keep us buoyant over the season and help us keep our inner winter glow!
Our workshop will end with a guided Yoga Nidra relaxation.
I hope you leave feeling refreshed, nourished and with a full cup.
Spring
Springtime Yin mini retreat
- to nourish and energise

Let's stop the world for a couple of hours, take it low and slow and climb into ourselves. As we move through Spring we can cultivate a little more self care and inward focus. Taking this quiet time and space can allow us to sow new seeds for the coming spring and summer seasons.
This mini retreat experience is curated around the element of wood and the liver and gallbladder meridian lines. As we nourish the element of wood within us, we can support hormone function, cultivate a more easy going inner environment, support ourselves with decision making and create a deeper sense of kindness and compassion.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
Suitable for all levels. Yin yoga can be quite intense and the sustained, supported holds (approx 2 - 4 mins) can sometimes feel overwhelming. You have full permission to exit poses whenever you wish and various options are given.
What to expect?
The workshop will begin with centering and a 20 minute slow, gentle flow to warm the body and help focus the mind to the breath.
Then we get into the deep Yin poses where we can really crawl into ourselves and enjoy the quiet space surrounding us.
The practice will be focussed around the liver and the gallbladder chi (spring meridians) and also the lung chi to help keep the respiratory system nourished. All this work draws on the elements of wood and metal and will support the energy in the body to help carry you through the season.
By nourishing these elements we can help build our personal confidence, build our inner vision and realise new opportunities with more clarity.
Meditation, Yoga Nidra and grounding pranayama will complete your mini retreat and you will be ready to float home. You may wish to take a quiet day at home to enjoy the full benefits of your practice and have some good, delicious, nourishing food.

Come and join me for one of my signature mini-retreats. This session is centred around the upcoming Summer Solstice on 21st June - giving you some time to connect with yourself and possibly have some well deserved “cup filling” before the summer holidays kick in.
The practice will be focussed around the heart and small -intestine chi (summer meridians) and also the lung chi to help keep the respiratory system nourished. All this work will support the energy in the body to help carry you through the season and give you some tools to support yourself if you’re travelling.
As we strive to nourish the element of fire, this element reminds us that happiness is shared space and we’re on this journey together. Fire reminds us that no one goes alone.

Nourishing the earth element

Come and join me for one of my signature mini-retreats. This session is centred on the element of earth, providing space and time to cultivate a deep sense of groundedness as the seasons begin to shift.
The practice will be focussed around the spleen and stomach chi (late summer meridians) and also the lung chi (autumnal meridians) to help keep the respiratory system nourished. All this work will support the energy in the body to help carry you through the season and give you some tools to support yourself with any changes in your life, worries or anxiety.
As we strive to nourish the element of earth, this element reminds us that by bringing our energies into harmony, we can support ourselves and others. We can adapt to situations and feel more grounded, full and comfortable with who we are, wherever we are.

Why not come and retreat with me to embrace Autumn deep rest and nourishment? This session is centred around the theme of autumn, the lung and large intestine chi and the element of metal - giving you some time to connect with yourself as the seasons shift and the cooler days kick in.
During this season we’re seeking to nurture the element of metal, supporting the immune system, respiratory function and settling the nervous system.
Metal also helps us to let go of what is no longer helpful and assists us in holding onto habits that are supportive and healthy.
