The Architecture of Ease: 50-Hour Restorative Yoga Training

A CPD Immersion with Nadine Watton at Līlā Yoga School

In an era of constant "doing," the ability to facilitate true rest is one of the most valuable skills a yoga teacher can possess.

Join Nadine Watton for a grounded, resource-rich, and deeply practical 50-hour journey into the art and science of Restorative Yoga.

Drawing on over two decades of teaching experience, Nadine delivers a syllabus that has been evolving since 2017—balancing high-level theory with lightheartedness, humour, and an open heart.

Why Choose This Training?

This isn’t just a course; it’s a mentorship. Whether you are looking to level up your professional offerings or deepen your personal relationship with stillness, you will find a supportive community at Līlā Yoga School.

  • For Teachers: Gain the confidence to facilitate specialised classes and workshops, design "Restore & Flow" classes, and master the use of props to support every body type.

  • For Serious Students: Go beyond the surface. Immerse yourself in the "why" behind the practice, from Samkhya philosophy to the mechanics of the nervous system, enriching your personal practice for years to come.

What You Will Master

We dive deep into the mechanics of the parasympathetic nervous system and the poetry of the subtle body.

  • The Architecture of Propping: Learn how to customise every pose for every body type using bolsters, blankets, blocks, and yoga belts.

  • The Science of Stress: Understand the polyvagal theory and how restorative poses physically down-regulate the nervous system.

  • The Gift of Sequencing: Master the "arc of a class"—how to move students from the chaos of their day into a state of profound stillness.

  • The Teacher’s Presence: Refine your voice, your pacing, and your ability to create a "brave space" for emotional release.

By the end of this training, you won’t just be teaching poses; you’ll be facilitating experiences. You will walk away with the confidence to lead specialised workshops, integrate restoration into active flow classes, and offer your community the deep medicine they are craving.

"You are not alone on this journey." At Līlā, we prioritise connection. Nadine is always here to discuss how the teachings sit with you, ensuring you feel empowered every step of the way.

Training in the Viniyoga style with her main teacher David Charlton with whom she continues to study with regularly, Nadine discovered the compassionate, healing benefits of a yoga practice. Nadine has made a specialism working with Yin and restorative practices whilst working with an inclusive and trauma informed approach. Facilitating yoga teacher training since 2017, Nadine strives to make the ancient teachings of yoga accessible for all.

“I would most definitely recommend this training to others. Nadine is such a kind and informative teacher, as well as a truly knowledgeable facilitator. I felt supported right the way through and questions/comments were always welcome. I am so incredibly satisfied, if not, 'wowed' by the experience I had. 10/10, you should do your Yin/Restore training with Nadine!”
